CHILDREN'S HOLIDAYS

We have been running children's holidays for the last 15yrs and can promise a holiday that your child will remember for a long time. We have children that return year after year and we are delighted to help them learn to ride, learn to look after their horses, take certificates and tests, have a go at competitions and make friends with other like minded children.

All the children live with us as family in the Farmhouse sharing bedrooms. Each day is different and is organised according to the group staying each week, some of the holidays have a specific theme eg. ABRS/Pony Club holidays, Eventing holidays and jumping holidays, others are flexible and all include lessons, riding in the countryside, looking after your own horse for the holiday, taking part in competitions and having lots of fun in the Lake District.

We have lots of ponies who will help your child to learn to ride in a relaxed and happy environment and team work is encouraged. All our staff are qualified and CRB checked and have attended Child Protection courses. They are all First Aid Certificate holders and are fully aware of Health and Safety issues when working around horses so will ensure that all the holidays are as safe as possible.

The holidays are all inclusive of riding, food and accommodation, we ask that children bring a good selection of clothes to deal with Lakeland weather and that they pack a dressing gown and slippers in order to stay warm and cosy in our large house that has some slate floors. (Teddy is welcome too at no extra cost!)

If you wish to book holidays on different dates to the above please contact us. We understand that different areas of the country have different holiday dates and if you can organise a few children for a holiday we will make the dates available if possible.
