Front Room Gold Bedroom Bike Ride Fishing

BED AND BREAKFAST

We are so lucky to have the most wonderful house on site that was built in the 17th Century. It has features and character in abundance, lots of bedrooms, a large living room and dining room for guests with log fires, oak beams, wonderful views and the atmosphere of a house that has looked after hundreds of people over the years.

We offer bed and breakfast all year round (except Christmas and New Year) and we can accommodate individuals or groups and offer them complete tranquillity, lovely facilities, excellent food and great hospitality. We have met many customers who are now life long friends and who return time after time for the special 'Witherslack Magic'.

Our bedrooms can be en-suite, double; family or single and we have full central heating, constant hot water, tea and coffee facilities in each room and bathrooms with full length baths as well as showers. Our large front room has a roaring log fire, TV, comfy sofas and a huge dining table which is original to the house. Here you can relax, read and soak up the tranquil atmosphere.

A short walk from the 'fox door' are horses, ponies and more horses if this is your pleasure. Outside the 'front door' is the most wonderful view down the whole valley and across Morecambe Bay estuary to Silverdale and Arnside Knot, footpaths criss-cross the whole valley all the way to the pub and community shop and a short walk takes you onto Whitbarrow Scar which offers magnificent 360 degree views over Morecambe Bay and up into the Lake District.

If Fishing is your sport then we have exclusive access to Witherslack Hall Tarn just in the woods behind our property where you can fish for FREE if you are staying with us. The coarse fishery has many fish including 20lb perch, Pike, Roach, Carp, Bream, Tench and Rudd who live in this very old tarn, there is a boardwalk around the tarn and individual purpose built pegs from where to fish all day (and all night if you wish!).
